Marine Ultra Heavy Cut

Highly abrasive machine polish for the preparation of heavily weathered gelcoats and boat paints. Also suitable for dark gelcoats and paint colors. E­ffectively removes graying, deep scratches and scu­ff marks from fenders, for example, and is ideal for preparing for the subsequent polishing process. Gelcoat Ultra Heavy Cut is free from silicone oils and has low dust and spray development.

Where to use: Gelcoat Ultra Heavy Cut is a highly abrasive machine polish designed for heavily weathered, faded, and damaged gelcoat and boat paint. It effectively removes graying, deep scratches, and scuff marks, including marks caused by fenders, making it ideal for restoring heavily worn surfaces and preparing them for the next polishing step. The silicone oil-free formula produces minimal dust and spray during polishing and is also suitable for dark gelcoat and paint colors.

How to use: Gelcoat Ultra Heavy Cut can be applied with either a rotary or eccentric polishing machine. Apply 5 pea-sized drops to a suitable polishing pad, such as the Heavy Cut Pad, short Lambswool Pad, or Twisted Wool Pad. Spread the product evenly over the surface at low speed using a crosswise motion. Then polish with a rotary machine at a maximum of 1,000 rpm or an eccentric machine at its highest setting. Remove any remaining product with a clean dry microfiber.

For dark surfaces, any remaining polishing marks can be refined with Gelcoat Micro Cut. After polishing, we recommend sealing the surface with Gelcoat Finish, Marine Protective Sealant, or Ceramic Boat Hull to protect and finish the surface.

Shake well before use. Check material compatibility before use. Do not use on hot surfaces. Protect from frost and excessive heat.
