Andrew Werkheiser
Andrew Werkheiser is a young entrepreneur with a remarkable story. Born and raised in Roswell, Georgia, he attended Blessed Trinity Catholic High School and was offered a full Presidential Scholarship to Mercer University in Macon, Georgia.
As he progressed through college, he was diagnosed two years in a row with a life-threatening virus known as Myocarditis. After miraculously surviving, Andrew began to live life as fully as possible. He traveled and presented his experiences, especially with youth and created his speaking ministry, Faith Filled Heart. He began to take interest in international business and took a short-term internship in Australia with a marketing agency. However, an even stronger love for emergency medicine, would keep him grounded in Macon and working on an ambulance.
While in Macon, Andrew was named the Heart Hero of Central Georgia 2013 by the American Heart Association for his dedication to funding research of heart disease. He was also 2013 Home Town Hero for the American Red Cross, for his life saving actions while on vacation in Hawaii. Once graduated, he decided to retire from being an Emergency Medical Technician in Macon, and from the Macon-Bibb Emergency Management Agency as well as with the Mid Georgia Ambulance Marketing and Community Outreach Department.
Putting his business degree in use, Andrew moved back to Roswell and started a career with the largest single line automotive paint distributor in the country. He went from running a warehouse to managing a few stores, then a region, and finally a new national division that the company had never ventured into. But, in December of 2016, he was offered the opportunity to take the reins of a ceramic coating and car care products manufacturer based in the U.K.
His love of international business and entrepreneurial opportunity led him to earn the title of CEO of Gtechniq North America. During his career with Gtechniq, Andrew grew sales thousands of percent in the U.S., as well as in Canada and Mexico, and assisted with growing the markets in Central and South America as well. In his first year, the company sold more than five times its previous year, and the growth only continued.
Andrew has a solid vision and an excellent way of creating opportunity wherever he goes. He also graduated in May 2018 from the number one Executive MBA program in the country, at Kennesaw State University and is the youngest to ever be accepted into the program.
Currently Andrew proudly serves as CEO for German based manufacturer and powerhouse, Koch-Chemie. He will take the U.S. operation to incredible heights and continue to push the global brand forward to a top tier position globally. Always assuring that this is only the beginning, there is a bright future ahead for KCX USA's young and dynamic team.
When not managing a rapidly growing international business, he spends time with his wife Caroline, Sons Haig and Blaise, canine daughters Ayvya and Annie, enjoys his passion for cars, and of course is still feeding his adrenaline filled passion by being a volunteer firefighter and EMT for Lumpkin County Emergency Services. He has an amazing passion for helping people, no matter what the cost and always finds himself in situations where he is thankful for his training, whether that be a mid-air medical emergency while traveling or a roadside incident on the way home from work. He drives charitable acts through his personal life and through his business and strives to make sure it is as humble as possible. He has a dedication to his family, friends, employees, and his faith and it is evident everywhere he goes. He works hard and always puts others first, and as always, continues to accomplish more in his young age than many do in their lifetime.
